The wife of Hon. Joseph E. McDonald, United States Senator elect, died very suddenly this morning at the family residence, North Pennsylvania Street. Mr. and Mrs. McDonald were married in Crawfordsville but a few months ago, and the bride came to her new home in this city under the happiest auspices and since the elevation ofher husband to his high honor, must have entertained the pleasantest hopes for the brilliant future before them. Her sudden and unfortunate death will cause profound sorrow among the friends of the family for the bereaved husband – kbz Note: Joseph E.
