McCutchan - Albert

Funeral services were held Monday at the Russellville Chrisitan Church for Albert McCutchan, who died at his farm home in Greene Twp, Friday evening following a brief illness. Rev. Russell Myers and Rev. Ray Britton were in charge of the service; burial made in Secedar Cemetery at Portland MIlls. Born March 19, 1901, in Greene Twp, Mr. McCutchan was the son of William Porter and Zeilia May McCutchan. He attended Waveland HS where he was graduated with the class of 1919. Later he attended a course at Purdue Unviersity. Mr. McCutchan was married April 29, 1937 to Marcelia Rosemond Smiley at Jasonville. His wife and their son, Irol Gene McCutchan survive, together with his mother, Zella May McCutchan, Rt 1, Greencastle and two sisters, Mrs. Rosalie Jarvis, Rt 4 and Mrs. Pearl Rice, Rt 1, Greencastle. Mr. McCutchan was a member of the Parkeville Christian Church and attended Russellville Christian Sunday School. He was decon of the Parkeville Christian Church for a number of years . Mr. McCutchan was also a manager of Oxford breed of sheep entries at the Indiana State Fair and he was the sheep superintendent at Russellville 4-H Fairs. --- kbz
