McCullough - Sarah Jarvis

Mrs. Charles McCullough, who at one time lived on the farm now owned by C.R. Hostetler, east of town just this side the Van crossing, died on Thursday morning of last week of heart trouble. Mrs. McCullough had risen and was preparing breakfast when stricken. Mr. McCullough found her when he came downstairs. Funeral services were held at the home in Crawfordsville. Mrs. Charles McCullough, the daughter of John and Mary Jarvis, and was born near Waveland October 28, 1858. She is survived by the husband and three children: Roy McCullough of New Palestine, Velma McCullough of East Chicago, and Clifford McCullough of Crawfordsville. One daughter, Mrs. Opal Corn, is dead. There are also four sisters; Mrs. Emmaline Moore of Anderson, Mrs. Virginia Courtney and Misses Lizzie and Maggie Jarvis; one brother, Will Jarvis. William Jarvis and son, Bennie, and Mr. and Mrs. Ira Sharp attended the funeral.- kbz
