McCrery - Leona Boling

Mrs. Leona Lucille McCrery, 78, died at 7 p.m. Friday in the Turtle Creek Nursing home at Layette. She had been in poor health since 1966 and prior to moving to the Lafayette nursing home she resided at the West- brook Nursing Home here. Mrs. McCrery had been a member of the First Nazarene Church of Crawfordsviile. She had been a resident of Mont- gomery County most of her life. Born April 14, 1892, in Ladoga, she was the daughter of Mark and Agnes Cooper Boling. She married Chester I. McCrery at Ladoga on Oct. 14, 1916. He preceded her in death in 1961. Surviving are two sons, John of Indianapolis, and Harold of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Jenny Eakes of Morris- town; and one grandson. She was preceded in death, in addition to her husband, by two sisters and one brother. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bright and Burkhart Funeral Home with Rev. Melvin L. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Ladoga Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - typed by Chris M.
