NEW RICHMOND — Stanley Terry McCrea, 47, a former resident of New Richmond, was found dead recently in his Los Angeles, Calif., home. He was born Sept. 30, 1914, in New Richmond. He was the son of John and Alberta Hadley McCrea. He was a graduate of New Richmond High School and attended business school in Indianapolis. He was a member of the New Richmond Methodist Church, a Mason and was a member of the Los Angeles Real Estate Board for 17 years. He owned and operated a filling station in Danville, Ill., shortly before traveling to Los Angeles for health reasons. Once there, he entered the real estate business as a broker. He is survived by a brother, Ted McCrea of St. Louis, Mo. The body will be sent to the Helms Funeral Home in Linden where arrangements are pending.
