Mr. Wilmort (sic) V. McCormick, local photographer, died at his home, 809 Sloan street, Saturday morning, at 11:25 o’clock, following a serious illness of two weeks with complications. Mr. McCormick is well known in Crawfordsville as a photographer and printer. At the time of his death he was proprietor of a photography studio on east Main street. Previously he was employed as a printer. He is one of the oldest members in the printer’s union in this city. He was also a member of the Modern Woodman lodge and a regular attendant at the Christian Scientist church. Wilmot V. McCormick was born the son of James and Leean McCormick near New Market, October 20, 1874. He was married December 17, 1894 to Josephine Coons. He is survived by his wife and one brother, A. F. McCormick, of Kokomo. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. -- kbz

Funeral services for Wilmot V. McCormick, one of Crawfordsville's well known photographers were held from the home, 809 Sloan Street at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. Mrs. Clella Loback, Scientist reader, had charge of the services. Interment was made at the Masonic Cemetery. -- kbz
