Waynetown - James C. McCormick, 61, a former resident of Waynetown, died here Tuesday. He had been in failing health since October. He was a graduate of Alamo High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1942 to1962. Born June 1, 1914, he was a son of James C and Carrie I. Michael McCormick. He was married to Mae Marsh at Shelbyville. Survivors are his widow; a sister, Mrs. Hazel Foxworthy of Hillsboro and a brother George R. of Waynetown. A brother preceded him in death. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Tapp Funeral Home at Henderson, Ky. Burial will be in Forrest Hills Cemetery at Shelbyville at 2 p.m. Saturday. Friends may call 2-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
