McCormick - Golda Miles

Mrs. Golda M. McCormick, 80 of 506 Hughes St who had worked at the Crawfordsville Casket factory died in her home. She had also been employed at Hall's Emporium, Redwood Inn and M&W Restaurant. Mrs. McCormick was a member of First Baptist Church. Born May 28, 1897, near New Market, she was a daughter of Allen B and Hettie B. Stephens Miles. She was married November 24, 1928 to Merle A. McCormick. He survives. Other survivors are two brothers, Zearn Miles of Crawfordsville and Walter Miles of Hillsboro and a sister, Mrs. Opal Meadow of Crawfordsville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Powers Funeral Home here with Rev. James Rainard officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. - kbz
