Frank McCormick, 72, died at his home north of Ladoga, at 3:30 o'clock Friday morning. He had been ill with complications for a considerable period and had been in a critical condition for several days. Mr. McCormick was one of the well-known farmers of the county and had lived in the vicinity of Crawfordsville all his life. He was born November 4, 1853 the son of George and Elizabeth McCormick and for the greater part of his life pursued the vocation of farming. He was twice married, his first wife being Mary Ellen Albertson who died many years ago. His second wife was Hannah Brown, whom he married Jan 1, 1881. He is survived by his wife, two sons, George H. McCormick, an employee of The Journal and Ben McCormick, a member of the police force; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hartley of this city and Mrs. Elizabeth Alexander of New Ross and 9 grandchildren. The funeral services will be conducted from the residence north of Ladoga at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon in charge of Rev. W.W. Roberts. Interment wil be in the Masonic Cemetery. - kbz

Crawfordsville – Frank McCormick, 72 years old, Montgomery County farmer, died at his home north of Ladoga. He leaves his widow, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Hartley, Crawfordsville and Mrs. Elizabeth Alexander, new Ross; two sons, George H. and Ben McCormick, both of this city. The funeral will be held at 2:30 o’clock this afternoon at the home with the Rev. WW Roberts in charge.
