Erick R. McCormick, 30, Waynetown died Sunday morning (Oct 2) in Baptist Hospal North East, LaGrange, Ky. Mr. McCormick was a refractory mechanic for Hi-Temp Refractories. He was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church and was a North Montgomery HS graduate. He was born May 27, 1975 at Crawfordsville to Thomas and Gina Gillis McCormick. They survive in Waynetown.
Also surviving are brother Marcus (Kelley) McCormick, Speedway; sister Kara McCormick, Waynetown; materal grandmother, Gaynell Gillis, Yuma, Ariz; and paternal grandmother, Mary McCormick, Waynetown.
Maternal grandfather George Gillis and paternal grandfather George McCormick are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 11 a.m. Thursday in Waynetown Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Raffignone officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday in Shoemaker Funeral Home, Waynetown.
