Mrs. Glee McCORMICK, 42, wife of Morris McCormick died at 5 o'clock Saturday morning at her home in Veedersburg. Death was caused by heart disease. She was born July 23, 1885, near Yeddo and spent all of her life in this vicinity. She was the daughter of Harris and Flora Philpott of Hillsboro. Besides the husband she is survived by one daughter, Mildred; two brothers, Ted and Troy Philpott, of Indianapolis and her parents. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Christian Church. Burial in Centennial Cemetery. Mrs. McCormick was a prominent and active worker in the Christian Church and past worthy matron of the OE S Chapter, Veedersburg. Among the relatives of this vicinity, who attended the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. Harris Philpott; Mr. and Mrs. Irve Lough; Nelson Lough; Henry Purnell; Mrs. Flava Reichard; Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Murdock; Mrs. Florence Murdock; Mrs. Gerty Frazier; Fowler Kingery and Elmer Taylor.
