McCollum - Carol Fletcher

Mrs. Carol McCollum, 29, of Sugar Creek Mobile Estates, died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday in IU Medical Center at Indianapolis. She had been in failing health seven years. Mrs. McCollum attended Crawfordsville High School. She was born March 7, 1945, at Plymouth, Va., a daughter of Delbert and Esther Weliever Fletcher. Surviving with the parents, Delbert Fletcher of Norwich, Conn., and Mrs. Esther Irons of Crawfordsville, are a son, Billy; two daughters, Luci and Jonna McCollum; a brother, Larry Fletcher of Douglas, Ga., and two sisters, Mrs. Janie Case of Terre Haute and Mrs. Marty Ewoldt of Crawfordsville. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Jump officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Saturday. – jlr
