Chester Franklin McFerran, 68, was found dead in his barn lot four miles northeast of Bainbridge, early on Sunday morning. Death was caused by heart trouble. He was a member of the Putnam County Council. This is the second death in the council within a few months, the other being that of Ford Schribner of Russellville. - typed by kbz
