Word has been received by Mrs. LA Shelton that the remains of her brother, Sgt. Eldon McELROY, who died Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock at Ft. Bragg, NC would arrive in this city Sunday afternoon at 1:30. Funeral services will be held at Proffitt & Sons Funeral Home at 1:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. BE Antrobus of 1st Baptist Church. The Baptist male quartet will sing. The Veterans of Foreign Wars will have charge of the services at the grave. Surviving are two sisters: Mrs. LA Shelton of this city and Mrs. Jess Stanson of Anderson and two brothers, Jerry McElroy and Melvin McElroy of Indianapolis. - typed by kbz
