Source: Waveland Independent newspaper, Waveland, Montgomery County, Indiana, Nov 4, 1921

Heart trouble was the immediate cause of the sudden death of  MV McDonald of this city while he was working on the farm of  Albert McClusky about 11 o'clock yesterday morning. The  circumstances surrounding the tragic incident are unusual in that  the stricken man had performed his full share of shucking the  corn at which occupation he and his three companions were engaged  and had just climbed on the wagon and was laughing and joking  with the other men when he suddenly toppled from the engate and  when picked up a moment later was dead. The farm is two Mi. W. of  Crawfordsville (Crawfordsville Journal). Mr. McDonald was the  father of John McDonald who is employed in the Lucas barber shop.  He is survived by a wife and four children. He was a carpenter by  trade. Funeral services were held at the home yesterday morning,  after which the body was taken to Delphi for burial. - typed by kbz
