McCoy - Lockwood
Source: Waveland Independent newspaper, Waveland, Montgomery County, Indiana, April 3, 1941
Firemen in Indianapolis answering a call at noon to the Polk
Milk Depot found the building in flames, one employee, Lockwood
McCoy hanging to a nail by a wire loop around his neck and
another employee, LeRoy McDonald lying unconscious. It is
supposed that there had been a fight and that McCoy, thinking
that McDonald was fatally injured had committed suicide. McCoy is
the son of Mrs. Bessie McCoy and was born in Waveland. He was
here for funeral of his aunt, Mrs. Albertus Upton. - typed by kbz
