Hadley McCOWAN 74 who died in the Pythian Home in Fayette (sic  Lafayette?) Monday last week lived here a number of years ago in  the house now owned by Robert Moore. He moved from here to Mecca  to work in the clay plants. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs.  Frank Robbins of Mecca and a half brother, James Branson of  Roachdale. Burial at Hixon Cem near Mecca.

Note:  Looked up his death record or tried to but it is almost impossible to read.   1941 - typewriters must have been awful as it is faded to nothing - can't read the parents' name or wife (Dolli or Coldi or something to that affect) - did die in Lafayette, Tippeanoe County, Indiana on 12-15-1941 at 9 a.m. of Angina Pictoris which duration was 6 months (the Dr. wrote with a pin - it isn't typed and is clear as can be Dr. C. Reed,

Can not read where he is buried who informed or zilch.  Grrrrrrrrrrrr :(
