David P. McCLURE, aged 71, died at his home here early Friday morning, February 23. He was the son of Alexander and Mary Rhinehart McClure. He was born and raised near here and with the exception of a few years spent in Ks he lived his entire life in this community (Marshall). He is survived by one brother, Zimri of Grand Junction, CO and two grandchildren, Anna Hall and David Fruits. His only daughter died four months ago. He was a loyal member of the Bethany Presbyterian. Church. Fun. services were held at 2 o'clock Sat. afternoon at the Presbyterian. Church in charge of Rev. Boyer. A quartet composed of AI Cannon; Lou Pickard; Mrs. Bradford Warren and Mrs. Roscoe McCampbell sang, "Nearer my God to Thee," "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "When I get to the end of the way." The pallbearers were Oral Newlin, Jesse McClure, Clyde McClure, Silas Dooley and Roscoe McCampbell. Burial was made at Bethany cemetery. - kbz
