Oct. 27, 1928-May 12, 2011: Beverly Joan McClure
died at 11:40 a.m. Thursday in the home of her son at Waveland. Mrs. McClure
was a homemaker. She was 82. She was a member of Browns Valley Christian
church, Waveland Raymond Todd 323 American Legion Auxiliary and attended
Waveland Covenant United Methodist Church. She was a 1947 graduate of New Ross
High School. She was born Oct. 27, 1928, at Lebanon, to William and Fern Brown
Bratton. She married Robert M. McClure on May 6, 1948, at Advance. He died Feb.
22, 1994. Survivors include son Terry (Mary Ann) McClure of Waveland; daughter
Sharon (Mike) Cook of Waveland; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
three step-grandchildren; 12 step-great-grandchildren; and three
step-great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m.
Monday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home at Waveland, with the Rev. Rodney
Coffman officiating. Burial will be at Oak Hill North Cemetery at
Crawfordsville. Friends may call 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
