McCampbell - Margaret Palmer

Mrs. Eva McCampbell, who has been in poor health for a long time, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Kritz at half past twelve on Monday morning. Funeral services at the home on Wednesday morning were conducted by Rev. Geo. A. Hill of Crawfordsville. Burial at the Presbyterian Cemetery.
The following obituary was read: "Margaret Evaline, youngest daughter of Prentice T. and Eleanor Palmer was born near Waveland Indiana on Nov 4, 1852. The girlhood was spent in the neighborhood of the Freedom Church, where her father was pastor for many years. On Feb. 8, 1874 she was married to J.H. McCampbell and lived in the Bethany neighborhood near Marshall until 1897 when the family moved to Waveland. Of the children born to this union a son, Walter, passed away in 1884 at the age of nine. She is survived by the two daughters, Mrs. Kritz of Waveland and Mrs. Glen Fullenwider of Melbourn, Wash and by one grandson, Glenn Fullenwider of Melbourn and one grandson, Glen Fullenwider, Jr. While she had been in failing health for two years, Mrs. McCampbell was confined to her bed but six weeks. She passed away quietly at 12:30 a.m. Sept 3, 1928. - kbz
