Linden, Ind March 5 – Walter Henry McBee, member of an old prominent family died unexpectedly at 3 o’clock Thursday morning at the family home, southeast of Linden. Heart trouble and complications caused his death. Mr. McBee was born May 18, 1853 (smudged). On Dec 23, 1884, he was married to Mary Emily Shoots (Sholtz). Mr. McBee was a member of the local Masonic lodge and widely known. Surviving are the widow, four daughters: Mrs. Ralph parker, Greencastle; Mrs. Walter Hoss and Mrs. Harry Montgomery near Linden and Miss Minnie at home; one son, Isaac at home; three sisters, Mrs. David Long, Swayzee; Mrs. Hunter Dain, Calgary, Canada and Mrs. Alice Hart, Linden and two brothers, Morton McBee of Linden and WT McBee also living near here. Funeral services will be held at the family home Saturday morning at 10 o’clock with Rev. CM McClure of the Linden ME Church in charge. Burial in the Linden Cemetery where the Masons will hold services. - kbz
