McBee - Isaac

Crawfordsville – Isaac C. McBee, 88, of Rt 6 died at 3 p.m. Saturday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. He had been in ill health six months and seriously ill two weeks. Mr. McBee was a past director of both Tipmont REMC and Kirkpatrick Grain Elevator. He farmed in this area for many years. Born in Montgomery County June 16, 1896 he lived in the same house where he was born all of his life. In 1915, he graduated from Linden HS. He was married March 19, 1921 at Greencastle to Hallie Henderson who survives. Mr. McBee was a member of Linden United Methodist Church a 50-year-member and past master of Masonic Lodge 697. He also was a member of Scottish Rite, Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Temple Shrine and Linden American Legion Post. Surviving with the widow are a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Mary Frances) Winger of Linden; and three sons, Walter H. McBee of Rt 6, Crawfordsville R. Marvin McBee and Fred McBee both of Rt 1 Linden. – kbz
