McARTY, Lola Wimmer - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Lola M. McARTY of Rockville R.R.3 age 80, died at her home Monday morning, December 6.  She was born in Parke County, September 22, 1891, the daughter of William P. and Delilah Davis Wimmer.  She was married January 4, 1914 to William H. McArty, who survives.  She was a member of the New Discovery Baptist Church for 58 years and was a charter member of the New Discovery Home Demonstration Club.  Also surviving are a daughter Mrs. Warren (Verna) Crooks of Rockville, two grandchildren, Allen and Kay Crooks, and two great grandchildren.  Funeral services were held at the Butler Funeral Home this (Wednesday) afternoon with Rev. Phillip Robinson and Rev. Harry McFaddin officiating.  Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery. - kbz
