McAllister - Phoebe Earl

Hillsboro, May 12 - Mrs, Phoebe McAllister, 80 years old, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Clements, near here at 5 o'clock Friday afternoon after an illness of a few weeks' duration with a complication of diseases, incident to age. Mrs. McAllister was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jon Earl and was born on a farm in Montgomery County near Waynetown. She was the last surviving member of her family. She had resided on the farm where her death occurred for several years and had made her home with her daughter for 15 years. She is survived by one son, Frank McAllister of Mellott and two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Brown and Mrs. Clements, both near here. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren survive. Funeral services will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, with burial in the Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown. - kz
