McCain - Robert B.

Word has been received today of the death of Robert B. McCain at Ft.
Lauderdale, Fl. Mr. McCain was born in Crawfordsville March 17, 1903,
the son of Arthur A. and Ethel Roundthaler McCain. The family was for
many years prominent in the business and social life of Crawfordsville.
His grandfather, T.H.B. McCain owned and operated the Crawfordsville
Journal which was later managed by his two sons, Arthur A. and Frederick
T. McCain. He attended Crawfordsville schools and entered Wabash from
which he graduated in 1923. He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi
Fraternity. He also received a master's degree in Journalism from
Northwestern University. Mr. McCain was associated with RR Donnelley
& Sons Co and Ben Hur LIfe Association until moving to Florida in
1958. In 1927 he married Carmen Staley who survives. Also surviving are
two sons, Robert S. and Thomas L. of Ft. Lauderdale; a sister, Mrs.
Clarence Davey of Arizona; and three granddaughters. Services will be
