Waynetown July 1 – William Matney, 87,
died this morning at his home following an illness of one week. On April 6,
1887, he married Viola Allison at State Line. Mr. Matney was a retired farmer
and came to this community 16 years ago from Danville. Survivors include the
widow, two half brothers, Frank and George Walker of Danville and a half
sister, Mrs. Bella McClure of Salt Lake City, Utah – kbz
