Thelma Martin, 82, of Danville, Ill., died at 2 p.m. Friday in the Carle Foundation Hospital at Urbana, Ill., where she had been a patient since Jan. 2. Mrs. Martin participated in church work, quilting and gardening. Born Sept. 27, 1898, near Collison, Ill., she was a daughter of Henry and Hettie Conley Juvinall. In 1917, she married George R. Martin, who preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, George R. of Danville, Ill., Jack E of Spokane, Wash., and Howard M. of Fairmount Ill.; two brothers, David H and Banner J. Juvinall of Danville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren ; and several nieces and nephews. . She was the grandmother of Mrs. Beverly Bell of 2107 Lafayette Road. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First Church of the Nazarene at Danville, Ill. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Lakeside Funeral Chapel at Danville.-- smc
