Arrangements Completed For the Funeral of Mrs. William Martin, Sr., Saturday at 2 p.m. As briefly stated in yesterday's Journal Mrs. William Martin, Sr. died at 3 o'clock in the afternoon of heart and lung trouble, with which she had been suffering more or less for a long time, though not confined to the house more than two days. The funeral services will be conducted at the home, 400 east Main Street, Saturday afternoon by Rev. Paul Curnick. Interment will be at Oak Hill. Elizabeth Martin was born May 8, 1841, at Liberty, Indiana, departed this life Jan 14, 1904, aged sixty-two years, eight months. She moved with her parents, George W. and Mary Grimes to Montgomery Co., IN. in 1847. She was married to William Martin March 4, 1868, and has resided in or near Crawfordsville since their marriage. Mrs. Martin has lived in her present home on East Main street twenty-five years. She has been a consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for over fourty years, a devoted wife, mother, and sister, forgetting herself in doing for others. Those surviving her are her husband, William Martin Sr., and three children, Mary J., Mrs. A. E. Reynolds, and W. K. Martin, all of this city; also three brothers and three sisters, James P, George R. Grimes, Mrs. Peter Byrd and Mrs. Will Evans, of this city, Mrs. William Tucker of Logansport; and Thomas B. Grimes of Lafayette.
