MARSHALL, Gola - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

WINGATE—Gola R. Marshall, 75, formerly of Wingate, was fatally stricken at his home at Danville, Ill., according to word received here. Mr. Marshall, who was born here Oct. 3, 1890, was a retired General Electric Co. employe and a former Watkins Products salesman. He was a World War I veteran. He was a son of William and Carrie Calhoun Marshall and was married June 26, 1943, to Katherine Hoover, who survives. Other survivors are a stepson, Edgar Workinger of Lafayette; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Danville. Interment was in Masonic Cemetery at Waynetown.   --typed by Walt W
