Mrs. Frank (Dahlia Cranmer) Marlowe died of typhoid fever in Akron, Ohio, Monday morning after a brief illness. Mrs. Marlowe was playing with a stock company in Akron when the fatal disease overtook her. Her husband has been playing in another company and was called to Akron by his wife’s death, and accompanied the remains to Crawfordsville for interment. The funeral will occur at 2 o’clock this (Thursday) afternoon, followed by interment in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Mrs. Marlowe’s maiden name was Miss Dahlia Cranmer and she spent most of her childhood and young womanhood in New Richmond. Her mother, Mrs. Harriett Jones, is a nurse in an insane hospital in Cherokee, Iowa. Her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Morris, reside in Crawfordsville. --– kbz
