VEEDERSBURG — Mrs. Alma D. Marlatt, 49, of Danville, Ill., died at 1:20 a.m. Saturday in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville where she had been a patient ten days. She had been in failing health for three years. Born June 9, 1914, she was the daughter of Richard and Ruby Bell Wineinger. She was married to Eugene A. Marlatt, who survives. Other survivors are a son, Richard E. Marlatt of Danville; two brothers, Lewis R. Wineinger of Veedersburg and Albert E. Wineinger of Kokomo; a sister, Mrs. Mary Ahl of Danville, and her mother who lives near Veedersburg. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and sister. Mrs. Marlatt has been employed as credit manager at the Mangel’s Ready-to-Wear store in Danville, retiring a few months ago on account of ill health. Funeral services were held Monday, 1:30 p.m. at the Pope Funeral Home Danville with burial in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
