Mappin - William

William Mappin, aged ninety three years, died last week at the home of his son, in Philadelphia. Mr. Mappin lived here until about four years ago, when he went east. Previous to living here he resided at Evanston, Ill. While in Crawfordsville he lived on South Washington Street and was greatly respected by his neighbors. His wife and daughter both died during his residence in Crawfordsville and their bodies were taken to Evanston for burial. – thanks so much to “S” for all her great obit work on this site
