Darlington, June 27 -- Jasper Manning long a resident of Darlington and a well known caprenter in this community passed away Wednesday evening at his home following a week's illness. Death occurred about 7 o'clock. Mr. Manning was 74 years of age and has lived the major ? part of his life in Darlington. Besides his wife he is survived by two brothers, William with whom he had resided and George of Mace. The funeral services will be conducted from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Zenor of the South Christian Church in charge. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. - kbz

Darlington – Funeral services were set for Friday afternoon at the home of Jasper Manning, 73, with Rev. WH Zenor in charge and burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mr. Manning, long a carpenter here died Wednesday after a week’s illness. Surviving are the widow and two brothers, William with whom he had lived and George of Mace
