Maltsberger - Lavina Fruits

Mrs. LaVina Maltsberger, 78, died at 8 (smudge) o'clock last night at the home of her son, Manford Maltsberger, 803 South Mill Street. She had been in declining health the past five years and seriously sick five weeks. Her death was due to a complication of diseases. Born near Waynetown, July 30, 1861 Mrs. Maltsberger was the daughter of William and Mary Fruits. 56 years ago she married George Maltsberger who rexpired two years ago. Mrs. Maltsberger who spent all her life in Montgomery County, the past three years in Crawfordsville was a member of the United Brethern Church. Surviving in addition to the son at whose home she died are three sons: Clarence Maltsberger near Linden; Jake Maltsberger near Waynetown and WIlliam Maltsberger near Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning at the Waynetown Methodist Church with Rev. Russell Rice and Rev. EA Arthur in charge. Interment will be made in the Waynetown Cemetery.
