LADOGA—Clarence M. Maltsberger, of 754 Hickory St., died Friday evening at his home. He was 85. He had been a farmer most of his life near Linden and south of Crawfordsville. In 1905 he was married to Frances Howard at Hart, Mich. Survivors include the wife, Frances; two daughters, Mrs. Reba Hughes of New Concord, Ky., and Mrs. Lilian Chase of Lafayette; a son, Dale of Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Elmer Woodrow and William Woodrow, and a daughter, Shirley Maxine. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bright Funeral Home at Crawfordsville, with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will follow in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Sunday. - kbz
