ROMNEY -- George Dale Malsbary, 53, farmer and life resident of this community, died at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. He had been ill since August 1962 and hospitalized since May 7. Mr. Malsbary was a son of Samuel C. and Mary Leaming Malsbary and was born in Tippecanoe County May 15, 1910. He was a 1927 graduate of Romney High School and attended Hanover College and Purdue University. He was married at Danville, Ind., to Ann Hadley April 15, 1933. He was a member of the Romney Presbyterian Church and Lodge 441, F&AM, in the latter of which he was Past Master in 1945, and a member of the Lafayette Elks Lodge. Surviving are the wife; the mother; four children, Mrs. Frederick S. Adair of Mayport, Fla.; Lt. Samuel C. Malsbary of Yorktown, Va., and George David and Margaret Ann Malsbary, at home; a sister, Mrs. Robert Millis of Crawfordsville, and five grandchildren. Funeral services are announced for 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Helms Funeral Home in Linden, with Rev. Peter H. Heamstra officiating and burial with Masonic rites in Elmwood Cemeter in Romney. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday. - kbz
