COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) --- Mrs. Wretha Malott, 71, a former Covington resident, who resided in Peoria, Ill., for 40 years, died at 1:20 a.m. Thursday (April 11, 1974) at St. Francis Hospital In Peoria. She had been admitted a week earlier following an illness of one year. A Fountain County native, she was born Oct. 18, 1902, the daughter of John and Ella Hougland Warrick. She was a graduate of Covington High. On March 11, 1925, she was married to Wayne Malott. He survives. Other survivors include a brother, John S. Warrick of Covington; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Malott moved to South Bend and back to Covington before making her home in Peoria. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ernest Moore officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday. --
