Mrs. Pearl Tyler Mahorney, a native of Waynetown died at 9 o'clock Tuesday night at her home, 413 S. Walnut Street, this city, following a two years' illness with complication of diseases. Mrs. Mahorney was born Oct 2, 1900. She married Darnell D. Mahorney April 27, 1921 at Crawfordsville. The deceased was a member of the First Christian Church. Mrs. Mahorney was graduated from the Waynetown HS and Crawfordsville Business college and before her marriage was associated with the LW Otto Jewelry store here. Surviving in addition to her husband who is secretary of the Crawfordsville Trust Company are a son, Richard L. Mahorney; her mother, Mrs. Emma Laymon; a sister, Mrs. Forest Titus of Crawfordsville; a brother, Guy Tyler of Hillsboro; a grandmother, Mrs. Jennie Beck of Waynetown and several uncles and aunts, including Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ingersoll with whom the deceased lived as a child. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the First Christian Church in Crawfordsville in charge of Rev. Paul Million. Friends may pay their respects at the Proffitt & Sons parlors until noon Thursday.
