John M. Macy died last Tuesday at half past seven o'clock at his home on south Green street. He had been in failing health for several months but his death was not anticipated until a few days ago. The funeral took place Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the services to be conducted at the residence by Rev. A. J. Alexander. Mr. Macy was born in Cincinnati fifty-nine years ago on the 21st of last March. During the civil war he served with honor in the 63rd Ohio volunteers. In 1887 he came with his family to this city and resided here until his death. He was a moat worthy citizen and was greatly respected for his uprightness and morality. He was a member of the Presbyterian church. He leaves a wife and two children. - thanks to Kim H
