Macey - Richard

Word has been received here of the death of Richard Macey at Williams, Ind Tuesday. Macey was a special messenger for the American Express company and while unloading a car his revolver slipped from its holster and was discharged when it struck the floor. The ball pierced his brain and he died almost instantly. Macey was formerly in the employee of the Adams Express Company in Crawfordsville and left the city about six years ago. He leaves a widow and one child. The body will be brought to this city Wednesday evening over the Vandalia and burial will take place here. - kbz
