Lydick - William - 1874

The Terre Haute Journal says: William Lydick, the man who was bitten by the rattlesnake at the Metropolitan saloon, now three or four weeks ago, died suddenly yesterday at noon. He seemed not to suffer much pain, but for a day or two previously lay in a sort of stupor, and the wonder is not that he died, but that he did not die at first. The swelling had gone down and his arms had almost resumed their natural color, only his left arm being still slightly black. -s
