Luse - Florence Reed - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

The funeral of Mrs. F. A. Luse, whose death occurred at the family residence about six miles north of this city last Friday evening, was held at the Zion Bethel church Sunday afternoon and was conducted by Rev. J. Francis Ashley, pastor of the Christian church of this city. Mrs. Luse's death came suddenly following an attack of indigestion and was a severe shock to her family and friends. The coroner was called and after conducting an inquest returned a verdict showing that death was due to indigestion following an illness of only a few minutes duration. Mrs. Luse was born in Montgomery County, Indiana September 14, 1860 and when nine  years of age removed with her parents, to this county where she resided until her death. Her maiden name was Florence Ross. She was married to Francis A. Luse and to this union were born three sons, Glenson Luse of Lafayette, Charles Luse stationed at Camp Sherman Chillicothe, Ohio and Orville Luse of Sheridan, all of whom with their father survive. She is also survived by one sister, Mrs. S. C. Girton of this city and one brother, George H. Ross of Chicago. The deceased was a member of the Cullen Creek Christian church and was highly respected in the neighborhood where she made her home. – thanks muches to Lena Harper
