VEEDERSBURG --- Ernest Ludlow, 68, died at 3 p.m. Saturday at his home. A life-long resident of this community, he was a son of Charles and Anna Sutton Ludlow. He was married Nov. 10, 1922 to Flora Romine. Mr. Ludlow was a carpenter and worked for the State Highway Department for a time. He was a member of the Christian Church at Sterling. Survivors include the widow; three sons, Earl and Wayne, both of Veedersburg, and Bennie of Hillsboro; two daughters, Miss Patricia Ludlow of Chicago and Mrs. Georgia Brown of Barsdale, La.; a son by a former marriage, Dale Ludlow of Phoenix, Ariz.; two brothers, Guy of Evanston, Ill. and Glenn of Covington. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. today at the Christian Church at Sterling with Rev. William Aimsworth officiating. The Masonic Lodge will conduct its services. Interment will be in Osborn Prairie Cemetery near here. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services. --typed by Walt W
