Lucas - Oliver PM

Word has been received here of the death of Oliver PM Lucas, former resident of Sheffield Township, which occurred July 13 at the home of a daughter in Dayton, Ohio after an illness of two years. Mr. Lucas was a son of Luther and Lucy (Perigo) Lucas and was born in Sheffield Township Feb 20, 1868 and was married in 1898 to Pearl Robinson of Stockwell. For a number of years Mr. Lucas was in the grocery business in Stockwell, leaving there about 15 years ago for residence in Dayton, Ohio. The widow, two married daughters and a son, also two grandchildren survive. There are also a half-brother, Garfield Lucas of Dallas, Texas and two nephews, Ralph and Earl Skinner of Los Angeles, Calif. John Brelsford of West Lafayette and Mrs. WE McCombs of Christian Ridge are cousins. - kbz
