Mrs. Lucas, the wife of "Boss" Lucas, late of the New Market Hub and Spoke Factory, has received a telegram from Greensburg announcing that her husband had been caught in the machinery of the American Wheel Company's Works there and was fatally injured. Mr. Lucas was until recently boss in the New market shops and left to accept the similar position under the Wheel Company at Greensburg. He has many friends in this county and city who will be pained to learn of his tragic death. -- thanks to Kim H

Mrs. Lucas, the wife of “Boss” Lucas, late of the New Market Hub and Spoke Factory, yesterday received a telegram from Greensburg an announcing that her husband had been caught in the machinery of the American Wheel Company’s Works there and was fatally injured. Mr. Lucas was until recently boss in the New Market shops and left to accept a similar position under the Wheel Company at Greensburg.
