Sarah Francis Utterback was born in Montgomery County, Ind., April 21, 1853, and departed this life at 2 o'clock Tuesday morning, July 18, 1816, at her home in East Kingfisher.

She was married to O.W. Lowry, October 28, 1875.  To this union six children were born, one having died in infancy.  The living children are Mrs. Erma McKenney of Kirkland, Ind.; Mrs. Juanita Bly of Plainfield, Ind.; and Mrs. Jesse Throckmorton, Carl and Keith, all of Kingfisher.  There are also eight grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters of the immediate family, besides numerous other relatives and friends who remain to mourn her departure.

Mrs. Lowry came with her family to Oklahoma in March 1903, settling on the homestead one mile north of town, having lived there until three years ago, when they moved to Stillwater to educate their son Kieth.  They returned to this city some two or three weeks ago.

Mrs. Lowry united with the Christian Church when a young girl and has been very faithful and unselfish in the service of her Master ever since.  She taught one Sunday School class in Jamestown, Ind., from which sprang four noted preachers.  She and her family were active workers in the Church here during former years and are held in high esteem by the members of the Church and by the citizenship of Kingfisher.

Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Christian Church in the presence of a large crowd of sympathizing friends and relatives.  Services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. E. Stubbs.  Interment in Kingfisher cemetery.-thanks muches to KH
