Frank Lowery, 74, Crawfordsville, died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, in Autumn Care Nursing Home, Ladoga. He was born May 21, 1912, in Mace. He married Edith Viola Myers on March 20, 1934, in Hillsboro. She died April 19, 1983. He was employed at Culligan Soft Water from 1945 until 1964 when he acquired Servi-Soft. He retired in 1972. He was a member of the Church of God of Crawfordsville. Surviving are five sons, William Edward Lowery, Waynetown; Richard Eugene Lowery, Middleton; John Thomas Lowery and Raymond Earl Lowery, both of Lafayette, and Walter Glen Lowery, Lebanon; three daughters, Martha Keys and Margaret Ann Kochert, both of Crawfordsville, and Betty Jean Lowery, Indianapolis; four brothers, Chester Lowery, Browns Valley; Oscar Lowery, Crawfordsville; Louis Lowery, Darlington; and Warren Lowery, Cocoa, Fla.; three sisters, Gladys Tibbett, Covington, and Mildred Shoaf and Elizabeth Gilliland, both of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home, Crawfordsville, with the Rev. Frank Rose officiating. Burial was in Mace Community Cemetery.

Crawfordsville – Frank Lowery, retired owner of Servi-Soft died at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday in Autumn Care Nursing Home, Ladoga.
