Darlington – Elizabeth Marie Love, 80, of Darlington died early this morning in the Ben Hur Nursing Home at Crawfordsville.  Mrs. Love was a retired head cashier at the Farmers Merchant State Bank here. She had been employed at the bank for 52 years before retiring. She was a member of Darlington  Congregational Church, Order of Eastern Star and Business & Professional Women’s Club. She was a graduate from Darlington HS. Born Oct 6, 1899, she was a daughter of Edgar A. and Nora Alice Stout Love. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Everett Smith of Crawfordsville; four nephews, Ralph Endicott of Darlington; John Love of Ohio; Harvey Smith of Brookston and Herman Smith of Kingman ;and four nieces, Mrs. John Spangler, Mrs. John Deer and Evelyn Smith all of Crawfordsville and Alice Riggins of Darlington – kbz

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Everett Smith of Crawfordsville; four nephews, Ralph Endicott of Darlington; John Love of Ohio, Harvey Smith of Brookston and Herman Smith of Kingman; and four nieces, Mrs. John Spranglar, Mrs. John Deer and Evelyn Smith, all of Crawfordsville and Alice Riggins of Darlington. Three sisters and two brothers are deceased.  Services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Thursday in Burkhart Funeral Home, Darlington Chapel with the Rev. Darnell Bickel officiating. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery here.
