Lough - Lola Wyant

Waynetown - Mrs. Lola Viola Lough, 71, widow of Wilbur Lough, died Thursday night shortly before midnight in her home at Waynetown. She had been ill since the first of the year. Born Feb. 9, 1888, in Clinton County, north of Frankfort, Mrs. Lough was the daughter of Abraham and Mary Earlywine Wyant. She married Mr. Lough Dec. 24, 1907. He died March 5, 1943. Mrs. Lough was a member of the Waynetown Methodist Church. Her early married life was spent in Frankfort. She had lived in Waynetown 40 years. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Mae Stout of Alamo, and Mrs. Mildred Henthorn, Mrs. Martha Rusk, Mrs. Mary Clements, and Mrs. Mamie Richardson, all of Waynetown; two sisters, Mrs. Lela Sheets of Frankfort and Mrs. Lessie Hagerty of Lafayette; a brother, Paul Wyant of Michigantown; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Besides the husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Rev. Ora Wyant. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Servies Funeral Home at Waynetown. Burial will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Rev. W. T. Flanigan will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the funeral home, beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday. - kbz
