Waynetown Items -- Uncle George Lough, aged eighty-four years, died last Sunday night. Funeral services wee conducted Tuesday by Elder W. A. Kerr, of Crawfordsville, immediately after which the interment took place in the Masonic cemetery just west of town.- transcribed by Kim H

“Waynetown news item” – George Lough, familiarly called Uncle George, died at his home in this place Monday morning after a long illness, of heart failure. Uncle George was 84 years of age and leaves a wife and five children, one in this place, one son in Ohio and three daughters in the western states. Funeral services at the Christian Church Tuesday at 2 o’clock p.m. conducted by Rev. Kerr of Crawfordsville. - kbz
